What I couldn’t fit in the sidebar J
I’m an everyday Vancouverite with a hungry stomach just like you J I am not a professional writer, a food expert, nor a former disgruntled worker in the food industry. Any opinions expressed on this blog are solely mine, and have no influence from any other source (...except maybe from my friends and family members who come out with me).
Consider this blog:
· a journal
· a diary
· a notebook
I started this blog because I love food, especially talking about it! There a very few things in this world I could go on about, and this is one of them J It’s such a privilege to live in a city like Vancouver, with so many excellent and diverse cuisines and restaurants (low-end or high-end) that are accessible to almost anyone. With this privilege, I hope to provide an everyday person’s perspective of these restaurants that you can relate to and find helpful in fulfilling some of that curiosity you’ve had about a potential dining spot in the city J
Other food-related facts about me:
· Co-developed and was Vice-President of the UBC Food Society (a student-run club that setup cooking workshops and restaurant outings for starving UBC students) during my undergrad years in university
· On my wishlist are: Blue Water Cafe, Italian Kitchen, Gyoza King (I can’t believe I haven’t been there yet!), Fairmont Pacific Rim Afternoon Tea, and Boneta
